Welcome
to DMS!
From Pastors Bram & Dianne Manusama
We are delighted that you have chosen to be a student at DMS (Discipleship Ministry School). We hope you find yourself growing in understanding and deepening your relationship with God.
We are delighted that you have chosen to be a student at DMS (Discipleship Ministry School). We hope you find yourself growing in understanding and deepening your relationship with God. As Christians, we firmly believe that it is essential to make the step from first accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour to then becoming a Disciple of Christ.
Matthew 28:19-20
‘Therefore go and make Disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’
With Jesus’ clear and simple final commission in mind, we see this school as a way of training and equipping you for the life of ministry to which you are called.
We can’t wait to see what God will do through these sessions. We know that we will all leave changed and ready to do what He calls us to do. Thank you for embarking on this journey with us, and remember to have a great time!
Much Love and Blessings,
Ps. Dianne Manusama

Student Expectations
The Pre-DMS Preparation is designed just like an orientation week but entirely online! It will prepare you for the commencement of DMS Intensive and Post-DMS Mentoring so that from day ONE, you are ready to go.
In the lead up to DMS Intensive, a small group leader will contact you to brief you on what to expect during DMS and help answer any questions you may have.
As a registered student, you must complete your viewing of the Pre-DMS Preparation videos. In these videos, you will be introduced to DMS, Dianne Manusama, founding visionary and director of DMS, and Carvin Winans, who spearheads DMS Mentorship. Pre-DMS Preparation videos will be made available on the DMS Student Area two weeks before DMS Intensive.
The DMS Intensive sessions will be online via Zoom. All sessions will start promptly at the specified times (located on the DMS Student Area). It is vital that you attend every DMS Intensive session. We have designed the program so that each topic builds onto the next.
Post-DMS Mentoring will commence after DMS Intensive. Once a week, a DMS Mentor will dissect the topics covered during DMS Intensive. With the assistance of your small group leader, you will learn how to go deeper into God’s Word and be encouraged to step out in faith in practical ways. Post-DMS Mentoring is about helping you apply faith principles into everyday living.
Session Requirements
It is vital that you attend every DMS Intensive session. We have designed the program so that each topic builds onto the next.
Before the DMS Program commencement, you will receive details to access Zoom either on your laptop/PC, tablet or smartphone. These details will be made available via email or the DMS Student Area home page.
During DMS Intensive, we will provide teaching notes before the start of each session. Please have your Bible and notebook ready for each class. We recommend taking extra notes as these will be invaluable references for the future.
Note: We DO NOT permit any form of audio or video recordings of any DMS sessions.
Small
Groups
A significant highlight of DMS is participating in a Small Group.
In the lead up to DMS Intensive, a small group leader will contact you to brief you on what to expect during DMS and help answer any questions you may have. All appointed small group leaders are trained and held accountable by Carvin Winans and the DMS Senior leadership.
In between DMS Intensive sessions, you will have time to connect with your assistant mentor and other group members. This is a time to reflect and share your thoughts on the sessions and pray and support one another in a strictly confidential manner. We want to create a safe environment for all participants.
Note: Each student is encouraged to participate in group discussions. However, you do not have to share anything you don't feel comfortable sharing openly with a group! We value your privacy, and we understand that certain things are very personal to you. Still, if you do want to speak with your small group leader through a one-on-one session, a Mentor can arrange this at a time convenient for both the leader and the student.
For the duration of Post-DMS Mentoring, your small group leader will be there to help answer and assist with any questions you may have. You will learn how to go deeper into God's Word and be encouraged to step out in faith in practical ways. Post-DMS Mentoring is about helping you apply faith principles into everyday living.
Note: All students must attend the live online mentoring sessions. If students cannot participate in a session, they must inform their small group leader, and a Mentor will arrange for a catch-up session.
Prayer
Prayer is the powerhouse of DMS, so we encourage you to use this valuable resource to see a breakthrough in the situations and circumstances that you are facing.
We suggest that you ask three people in your life to pray for you during the DMS Intensive. They could be a family member, your life group leader, or a fellow Christian friend.
Note: Please bring any specific prayer needs to your small group during the DMS intensive week.
The suggested areas of prayer to target before you commence DMS are;
Health, safety and breakthroughs in areas that have been stumbling blocks in your life.
Protection for yourself and your family during this time. Shut down distractions and voices that would discourage you from doing DMS, that you will complete the course and not miss any sessions.
Excitement and anticipation that God will move in your life. New levels of being able to hear God’s voice, openness to the voice of the Holy Spirit and that God answers the things you want to see God do in your life.
Personal Journal
We encourage you to keep a personal daily journal.
A journal is a tool to help put the things you have learnt into your heart and mind. You can write down things that God is speaking to you, like scriptures or thoughts you think He has given you.
Record any new understanding or revelation you are receiving. Personal prayer needs and prophetic words are also essential to detail. It will help deepen your learning experience when you express prayers, thoughts and feelings on paper.
